The Uni Alpha Gel Switch lets you switch between "Kurutoga Mode" where the lead rotates to stay sharp, and "Hold Mode" for a stable writing feel, depending on your needs.

The gel is not too soft, offering a perfect fit that adapts to your individual grip.

The newly developed "Gel Sand Grip" with its three-layer structure provides a soft, cushioned feel while firmly holding in place, making it comfortable for long writing sessions. The αGEL absorbs finger pressure gently, stabilizing your grip.

Choose from Two Modes

By turning the clip, you can switch between Kurutoga Mode and Hold Mode.

• Kurutoga Mode: The lead rotates slightly with each stroke, keeping the tip sharp. This prevents your writing from getting thicker and allows you to write beautifully. It’s perfect for creating neat notes.

• Hold Mode: Ideal for quickly writing large amounts on the page without worrying about the thickness or darkness of the writing. It’s great for studying or memorization.

"KURU → 'くるくる' means to rotate or spin in Japanese.
TOGA → '尖り' means the tip is sharp in Japanese.

You can check the lead’s rotation by the color change inside the central window of the barrel. The eraser also works perfectly and erases cleanly.

The eraser on the cap glides smoothly to erase text.
